Proper Names Translated into Russian.
Translators into Russian usually say that proper names are often simply given letter by letter and there is no need to bother translating them from English. Moreover, as experience shows that it is actually put into practice. And yet, there are some proper namesthat seem to violate this rule of thumb. An example are word combinations thatare partially made of a proper name and there are also common words.
