In the early days of pregnancy, a woman might select some seemingly odd choices in the pregnancy clothing she chooses to dress in during the day. She might choose to wear a house robe for days and put bunny slippers on her feet. Those slippers will remind her though that the rabbit died and that she has a nursery to decorate now with the little fellows.

Her pregnancy choices for the latter months of pregnancy might turn even more comical because by this time, the woman might suffer from a bit of depression over the changes that are happening to her body. She might choose large tee shirts with funny slogans on them that she hopes will raise her spirits and make her feel better. She will probably look at the skimpy nightgowns that are in her drawer, and not feel as sexy as she used to when she looked at them.

To accommodate a larger body, the woman might switch over to flowing gowns that reach to the floor. These large gowns will help hide the exuberant size that her breast have grown in recent months and the flowing fabrics will serve as camouflage for a belly that has extended outward so far that she has reached a certainty that she will never see her feet again in this lifetime.

A woman who has reached the third trimester of pregnancy might find it very invigorating to finally go shopping for pregnancy clothes. The idea of wearing clothes that will suit her new body shape will definitely raise her spirits some. There are all sorts of pregnancy clothes that are offered in whimsical designs that will allow a woman to show off her feminine side while leaning toward motherhood with a tolerance toward accepting sheep and bears as part of her day to day life.

Pregnant women would not think that high-heeled shoes would be a natural choice to wear no matter which whimsical outfit she chose to put on her body on any day. These shoe styles might cause the woman to slip and fall, and women would not want to take the chance of causing early labor to start. These women will keep the rabbit slippers close by at all times because those are the only shoes that will fit over the swollen ankles that come with being pregnant.

After the baby is born, the woman might select clothing that is suited toward nursing duties. She might revert back to the oversized tee shirts that had whimsical slogans on the front. She may even have a silkscreen image of the child placed on the front of a tee shirt just to show the world a photograph of her new baby. A woman needs whimsical clothing choices in her life during the first few months after giving birth because the long hours that are required to care for the child will tend to remove any mirth that a woman has left from the thrill and prestige that comes from being a new Mom.
