When it comes to the urban community, there is a clothing line that truly represents the true nature of rap music, urban styles, and hip hop fashion. And those clothing lines can only be found in the collection of seanjohn clothing lines.
The clothing lines in the seanjohn collection can provide the means to be included in the ever growing urban community, a clothing line that is highly respected by the hip hop and urban community. But aside from that, what else does the urban community know about the seanjohn clothing lines aside from its fashionable collection?
The clothing line seanjohn was founded by hip-hop mogul sean john combs A.K.A sean john, in 1998. The brand name seanjohn was derived from sean john combs’ first name and second name, very straight forward I might add.
Many respectable and renowned personalities have represented the seanjohn such as rappers T.I., Fabolous, The Game, basketball star Dwyane Wade, and models Tyson Beckford and Kevin Navayne, and sean john combs himself have made the seanjohn clothing line popular.
And on 2006, the seanjohn also released its first ever fragrance for men called the Unforgivable that was manufactured by Estée Lauder, one of the world's leading manufacturers and marketers of skin care, cosmetics, perfume and hair care products.
But aside from the limelight, sean john combs also suffered some allegations about its seanjohn clothing line. In October 2003 sean john combs was under intense media attention for using sweatshop labor to produce the seanjohn clothing line. Among the accusations, originally put forth by the National Labor Committee (NLC), workers were subjected to body searches, fired if pregnant and paid sweatshop wages. Diddy responded to the BBC that there would be a "zero tolerance" investigation at his company, Sean John. He stated to a group of reporters "I'm as pro-worker as they get."
sean john also suffered some allegation that the two style of seanjohn jackets were allegedly made of raccoon dog fur. sean john combs, together with Macy's, pulled all of the garments from the department stores where this product was shipped.
