Think about getting a dual flush toilet instead of a standard one, since these will use much less water and reduce your water bill as long as they are used correctly. All kinds of colors and designs are available, but most people play it safe and choose white or black.

The most important feature of your bathroom, though, will be the flooring. You want to make sure and install flooring that both suits your taste and is a hard surface, like tile or stone.

The last thing you want to put down in this room is carpet. Rugs are acceptable, since they can be taken up and cleaned, but carpet will become molded due to moisture.
