As a single person you need to have a ready supply of opening lines to break the ice with someone who's caught your eye. These days most singles have heard them many of the common ones and will probably dismiss your advances with the roll of their eyes so you need to be a little more imaginative.

Chat-up lines are usually something that will make the person you're wanting to talk to laugh so think about the following and see if there's something you can use next time you're out on the town and want to get to know someone a little better. Better still, don't just use the lines as they are, see if there are any that you can put your own spin on to make them unique and something that the person can't possibly have heard before!

"You're hot enough to prove that global warming is here!"

"If global warming produces people as hot as you what are they complaining about?"

"I'm not the prettiest girl here, but I must be the smartest cause I'm the one talking to you!"

"Amongst all the eye candy, I found the designer chocolate!"

"You're it!"

"Do these boobs look real to you?"

When you're deciding on a chat-up line to break the ice with someone you don't know, and you really want to get them to notice you, take a few minutes to see if you can match the right kind of opening line that they'll respond positively to.

A conservative shy looking guy may blush and want to turn away from a comment that's personal and sexy, but smile at one that complements them, on the other hand something cute may not work well on a guy who's wearing tight black leather and looking as if he owns the air around him, but a sexy wiggle plus a smile and personal comment will grab his attention away from the beer in his hand.

Match up the chat-up lines and you take away some of the tired clichness of the words and you'll find that they'll work more in your favor.

You only get one chance to make a first impression so learn a number of chat-up lines you can memorize and deliver naturally with the full force of your personality behind them, and you find that this age-old dating technique is just as successful today as it ever was.
