As a step further in the same direction, an expert’s panel was set up, in 1994 by the Home Office to look into the harm related with the participation in the hypnotism act. This panel also reviewed the effectiveness of the earlier law. In 1995, the panel’s publication concluded that there is no risk in participation during stage hypnotism.
