Amarilla is situated in Tenerife next to Golf Del Sur. It really is a place to get away from it all. However, with the new link road in place it is now easy to walk into the resort of Golf Del Sur.

Amarilla does have its own small resort centre which is known locally as the dip describing the land it lies within. Here there are some quiet restaurants and bars. The Sports Bar is a popular hang out whilst the Premier Bar has some good evening entertainment. The restaurant in the complex of Fairways has a good reputation. You will also find a supermarket, a video or DVD hire shop and some other small shops.

The picturesque coastal walk is very popular and is perfect for those who like long walks. To the west you can walk for miles, yet to the east, in just a few minutes you will be at the new marina and into the bigger resort of Golf Del Sur, The new marina has some fantastic sea front restaurants and bars and the resort centre of Golf Del Sur has plenty more to do.

Properties in Amarilla are larger villas, lining the fairways of the 18 whole golf courses. Therefore whilst its a perfect place for those just wanting to relax it is of course a real a favourite with golfers too.

All of the villas in Amarilla are in their own private grounds and are in a line stretching down to the sea.

Dotted around Amarilla are various little bars and eateries.

For shopaholics youll find plenty of bargains in Tenerife. There are several popular brand names selling here for a fraction of high street prices in the UK. Tenerife wines are very well respected and reasonably priced and there are a number of specialist items and handicrafts that make great gifts.

Of course the easiest way to get round the island is by to rent a car and drive yourself. Cars can be picked up and dropped off at the airport so there is no need to wait in the airport queue for an expensive taxi.

This is an ideal location for anyone wanting privacy and to just get away from it all and soak up the Tenerife sun. It is a fantastic base for your holiday and is home to some lovely villas and where you will really appreciate that you are not experiencing some of the commercialism of the bigger resorts.
