Hope is a belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one's life. Hope implies a certain amount of perseverance, which is the belief that a positive outcome is possible even when there is some evidence to the contrary.
Hope is also the only thing that can provide humans the will to push on forward and continue with their struggles in life. Hope comes from anything, inanimate or not. The thought of having a car can give us the will to carry on and strive harder for us to attain that.
